Not a lot to say

My day consisted of paying a credit card bill; stopping off at the new Petco on Beretania, which didn't have very many animals, but there were little turtles and a conure that caught my eye; grabbing some Kozo's and eating at Diamond Head Lookout.  I actually loved the rain this morning, but it does make getting to places a lot harder, even when you're in a car.  Oh and these photos were taken with my new Nikon S01, the smallest digital camera I'd ever seen.  It's MP and zoom is terrible, but it's cute and I thought I should put it to use.

A Step in the Right Direction

Nepal added a third gender to forms in the country, which I believe is a step in the right direction.  If a person does not want to be identified as male or female, why should they be forced.  Although part of the first-world and a major influence to other countries, sometimes the US can be a little slow...

Still Here

Just writing to let anyone who visits this blog know, I am still here!  Yes, I realize that the holiday season was over almost a month ago, but I was still needed at Macy's for inventory purposes.  But for the time being, I am done working until March and will be headed to LA and San Fran in the coming weeks for a short vacay.  So excited to eat new food, shop in new places, and see different parts of the city with Tim.  If anyone has any suggestions of places to eat, please do let me know.  I am already eating at the House of Prime Rib in San Fran, but unfortunately that day is Ash Wednesday, which means no meat:(  I came up with a solution though, which consists of me taking out meat and eating it the next day, and while I know the taste won't be absolutely the same, I'm hoping it'll be pretty close.  I'm hoping to have a laptop or something of that sort to load some photo diaries while on vacation.

New Year, New Trends

2013 Fashion Trends from Fabsugar.com.  I think I'll try my hand at Emerald Green (but not too vivid), stripes (which are already a staple in my wardrobe), subtle ruffles (maybe), and black and white.  No pointy heels or exposed lingerie for me.
